Borregard Construction, Inc., was established by William S. Borregard in 1993.  We have enjoyed providing client friendly service to Owners and Developers for over a decade.

Mr. Borregard has more than twenty-seven years experience in the construction industry in the state of Florida.  He began his career working every summer in the field on construction jobsites.  In 1982 he joined Arvida in Longboat Key, Florida, as a Field Engineer and Quality Control Supervisor for several condominium projects.  He has served as Estimator and Project Manager for Gulf Constructors on projects in Tampa and Sarasota.  These projects included wastewater treatment plants, office and industrial buildings, and Adult Congregate Living Facilities. 

In 1988 he joined Damone/Andrew as Assistant Vice-President and Qualifying Agent, managing all construction and development in Southeast Florida.  His responsibilities included land development, industrial development, tenant improvements, retail centers, church buildings, and commercial renovation work. 

In 1993, he started Borregard Construction, Inc., with his first project being offices for Microsoft.  Throughout B.C.I.’s history Mr.Borregard  has also completed several projects for Calvary Chapel, (one of the nations fastest growing churches) along with numerous residential custom homes.

During the last six years Mr. Borregard has completed construction on sixteen Adult Congregate Living Facilities for ALTERRA Healthcare, Inc. These projects ranged from 1.5 to 5.1 million dollars. Alterra is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is currently one of the largest providers of Adult Congregate Living Facilities in the nation. 

Mr. Borregard holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida.  He is also a Certified General Contractor and a licensed real estate salesman in the state of Florida.
